President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky presented diplomas and honorary badges of the Boris Paton National Prize of Ukraine to scientists of the Department of High-Temperature Materials and Powder Metallurgy of the E.O. Paton Institute for Materials Science and Welding.
The winners of the award were:
- Yuriy Ivanovich Bogomol - Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department.
- Oleksandra Ivanivna Yurkova - Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor of the Department.
- Yevgen Vasylovych Solodkyi - Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department.
This high state award is a recognition of the team's significant contribution to the development of modern materials science and powder metallurgy. We sincerely congratulate the team on this honorary award and wish them new scientific achievements.

The president awards it for scientific research that contributes to the development of the humanities, natural and technical sciences, medicine, education, and environmental protection.

And science, alongside the army and diplomacy, is an equally effective force in countering Russian evil. And our science is working, growing, which is important during the war, creating, making Ukraine stronger," said Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
