It has been reported that Yevhen Demyanenko (August 7, 1990 – April 22, 2023) has been killed in action. He graduated from the Institute of Special Communications and Information Protection at the National Technical University of Ukraine “KPI” in 2012.

😢 Our university community has suffered another loss. It has been reported that another student of Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, Artem Krulikovsky, has died.
🕯 Maria Bigun (Leut), a graduate of Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, was killed in the war (August 28, 2000 — February 21, 2026)
🕯Kyiv Polytechnic student Daria Lopatina (July 8, 2006 — September 2, 2025) was killed in action.
🕯 Volodymyr Muzh (May 12, 2001 – February 5, 2026), a graduate of our university, died in the war.
🕯 The Kyiv Polytechnic community is once again in mourning. On February 15, 2026, KPI graduate Denis “Fox” Gordeev, a lieutenant and commander of a platoon of unmanned aerial vehicles of the 156th Mechanized Brigade, was killed while performing a combat mission in Donetsk Oblast. He was 36 years old.
We are sad to announce that Dmytro Volodymyrovych Zvezda (January 25, 2005 – November 20, 2025) has been killed in the war.
