At the meeting of the Academic Senate, the rector of the Poznań University of Technology, Professor Teofil Jesionowski, said that the team of the Faculty of Automatic Control, Robotics and Electrical Engineering took the initiative to award the rector of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Michael Zgurovsky, the degree of a Doctor Honoris Causa.
After receiving positive expert opinions, the Academic Senate of the Poznań University of Technology decided to award the degree of a Doctor Honoris Causa for outstanding scientific achievements in the field of cybernetics, system analysis and decision-making theory, as well as for cooperation with the international academic community.
After the ceremony, Michael Zgurovsky gave a nomination lecture about the global trends of conflict growth in the world, revealed as a result of the application of big data intellectual analysis and system analysis methods.
