The second working meeting of representatives of the Arizona State University (ASU) and the administration of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute took place.

University managers talked to ASU Vice President for Global Academic Initiatives Julia Rosen and founding director of American University Kyiv Roman Sheremeta about:

  • capacity building for innovative, asynchronous and / or hybrid digital teaching and learning to empower students and teachers through distance learning;
  • supply of laptops, other equipment for computer laboratories, teachers and students and replacement of laboratory equipment damaged during the war;
  • assistance in business activities, such as support for start-up companies, incubators and technology transfer.

Next, Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute should provide a detailed list of priority needs for budgeting.

Looking back, with the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the University of Arizona together with the American University Kyiv agreed to support Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute in the war problems and challenges.

The next meeting will take place in the coming weeks.
