Dear Kyiv Polytechnics! Today we celebrate the Day of Strength and Power of the Ukrainian Army - the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. On this day, in the first year of independence, the Verkhovna Rada adopted the Law "On the Armed Forces of Ukraine.” And in 1993, this date was declared a national holiday - as a reminder of the steadfastness of Ukrainian defenders.
Today we must thank everyone who stands for the protection of Ukrainian borders, the integrity, indivisibility and unity of our country. We thank the Ukrainian soldiers for the fact that in our civilian life we have the opportunity to study, work, take care of families, and peacefully build our country. Thank you, defenders, for your courage, strength and boundless love for the Motherland. We remember everyone who laid down their lives for our peace and tranquility in this struggle.
