One of the important areas of educational, scientific and innovative activity of KPI named after Igor Sikorsky students is their participation in competitions and contests of scientific student work.

This spring hosted two traditional events at the Odessa National Academy of Communications named after O.S. Popov - final stages of the All-Ukrainian contest of student research thesis and the All-Ukrainian student Olympiad at telecommunications.

French Spring School was held at our university from May 29th to June 1th.

Bohdan Kaidyk, the 5th-year student of TEF, was born in town Kolkakh on Styr river, Volyn region. His education has started in the class with specialization in physics and mathematics of local school.

June 19, 2017 marks the 70th anniversary of Professor, Doctor of Technical Sciences Valentin Georgievich Kolobrodov, head of Optical and Optoelectronic Devices Department of the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute Instrument-Making Faculty.

On May 30, 2017 Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute was visited by coordinator of "Eurasia" program in the Norwegian Center of International Education and Cooperation in the Field of Education - Bord Hekland (pictured on the left).

Thirty years in the field of invention

This year the Faculty of Management and Marketing celebrates the 25-year anniversary.  From the very establishment of the faculty, its employees - members of the labor union - formed a faculty labor union organization, which is a structural unit of the labor union of our university.

The annual social-sports holiday "Healthy relay" was held on May 24, 2017, on Politekhnicheskaya St. and Polyana Square. It was organized by administration of the campus of KPI with the support of the primary labor union organization of students and student social service of the University.
