French Spring School was held at our university from May 29th to June 1th. It was organized by University of Lorraine (Universite de Lorraine), scientific-research laboratory LORIA (Lorraine Research Laboratory in Computer Science and its Applications) and Igor Sikorsky KPI within the framework of the Erasmus+.Research Laboratory program.
Event opening was on May 29th with the presence of Mr. Silvina Rigolle, Attaché of the French Embassy for University and Scientific Cooperation, Vice-Rector of Education P.O. Kyrychko as well as the representatives of faculties and the department of academic mobility.
Thanks to the Erasmus+ project of credit mobility, 100 students, comprising of the postgraduates and scientific-pedagogical personnel, have had an opportunity to participate in the project.
They gained the theoretical knowledge in the areas of "Artificial Intelligence & Robotics" and "Data Science", presented to them by seven lecturers from University of Lorraine in English. 88 participants received the French Spring School graduation certificates (the requirement to obtain a certificate was to attend 70% of lectures targeted at one course). It is worth to highlight a high student involvement in the process as they were present on each and every lecture.
We are planning to hold the same school next spring as well.
