KPI implements a “compliance + values” approach to foster a sustainable culture of integrity

In today's environment, higher education requires not only compliance with legal requirements, but also a high level of internal responsibility from each employee. That is why our KPI has begun to implement the “compliance + values” approach, which is recommended by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD, 2020) as one of the most effective ways to strengthen integrity in public sector organizations.

Science without borders: participation of FMF students in academic mobility programs

The development strategy of Igor Sikorsky KPI provides for increasing the level of academic mobility of students and teachers through international exchange programs, summer schools, internships, etc. This is one of the university's priority areas of activity aimed at deepening the internationalization and integration of participants in the educational process into the international educational and scientific space, improving the quality of education and the effectiveness of scientific research, as well as ensuring competitiveness in the educational services market. 

Working groups on gender equality: areas of activity defined

On June 20, an inaugural meeting of the heads of working groups on gender equality of faculties and educational and scientific institutes of Igor Sikorsky KPI was held. It was chaired by Tetyana Zhelyaskova, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the University.

Life axiom: encounters with famous creative personalities are particularly memorable in childhood. An almost two-hour lesson-dialogue, held on June 7 by the presenter of the TV channel “Kyiv24,” lecturer at the Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts (KNUCA), and journalist Anastasia Krasnytska for students of the media school in Vasylkiv (Kyiv region) and pupils of the information and creative agency “Yun-press” (Kyiv Palace of Children and Youth), was dedicated to the celebration of Journalist Day. Ms. Krasnytska has 15 years of professional experience in television (over 4,000 hours of live TV broadcasts).

Four teams competed for the “Cup of the Unconquered” in football

On June 5, the KPI Sports Complex stadium hosted the regular “Cup of the Unconquered” football tournament in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Four teams took part in the competition: “Polytechnic,” “ISZZI Team,” “210 OSHP” (team of the 210th separate assault regiment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine), and “Solomyanskyi District Police Team.”
