Mechanical subdepartment (later – Department of Mechanical Engineering and now - Institute of Mechanical Engineering of NTUU " KPI") dates back to 1898 and together with Chemical Engineering Department is fthe same age as the Kyiv Politechnik.

In the issue "KP" on September 22, an article "Do we stop copy-paste?" was published. Responding to the invitation to discuss the wording of article, I want to express some thoughts about it.
