If those who use Wi-Fi at the university ask where the signal comes from, most will see the letters “KPI-Telecom-Huawei” on the screens of their gadgets.

Currently, E. Chvertko is a member of the International Council for Authorisation, which trains and certifies welding professionals. She is also the deputy director of the Institute of Welding for international cooperation.

Today's students have to make every effort to gain quality knowledge. In recent years, they have been socially isolated due to quarantine, suffered psycho-emotional suffering, and faced the horrors of war. Their education was interrupted and changed format - from full-time to distance/mixed and back to full-time. It is all the more pleasant to talk about our students who, despite all the obstacles, not only acquire professional knowledge but also successfully find applications for it. 

The list of winners of the university competition ‘Young Lecturer-Researcher’ is updated with new names every year. Based on the results of his work in 2023, the list includes Oleksandr Muravyov, Associate Professor of the Department of Automation and Non-Destructive Testing Systems (ANTS).  

Kyiv sculptor Oleksandr Kuzmin is one of those artists who confidently work not only with clay, bronze and stone, but also use wood, welded steel elements, marble, silver, polymer, gypsum, etc.  This helped him to form his own creative style and to embody his attitude to the topic in each new work, combining a modern vision with the classical sound of the composition. 

On 12 September, the Second meeting of the Joint EU-Ukraine Committee of the Horizon Europe and Euratom programmes took place in the innovative shelter ‘CLUST Space’ of the KPI Scientific and Technical Library. 

October marks the second anniversary of the foundation of the Kyiv Polytechnic Charitable Foundation for Support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Our newspaper and other university media resources have already informed readers about its activities.

War always means pain, tears and losses. What is it like to live during a war? In different ways. On the one hand, life goes on, we go about our daily routine, work, study, take care of our loved ones. On the other hand, we change every day, every hour, every explosion.

“Dedicated to professionals and their grandchildren who will be able to become professionals”. This was the slogan of a roundtable discussion held at the Borys Paton State Polytechnic Museum as part of World Space Week on October 10, 2024. 

Throughout most of October, students who are not indifferent to sports competed in competitions in six sports disciplines as part of the KPI Spartakiad.  This was the second university sports day after a long break due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the beginning of a full-scale war.
