From 13 to 15 May, 2013 at the National Technical University of Ukraine "KPI" with the assistance of Certification Center opened keys in Ukraine hold XXVIII workshop of European group in infrastructure security and science in Europe EUGridPMA. The main goal of the group is to create a -Common European security structure for Grid-systems, discussing all the subtlety of certification technology, auditing security and development of a common strategy use digital signature technology in the European Research Area.
According to the result of the workshop, the strategy of successive substitution of cryptographic computation bloodline SHA- 1 was developed and replaced by new safer hash algorithm SHA- 2 and confirmed the appropriate schedule for the modernization of all European certification centers .
Together with its European colleagues, who participated in the meeting in mode of video conference, was prepared and submitted for public discussion project of new identity verification section for environment with simplified verification of identity (IOTA).
Also, according to the results of the workshop new requirements and recommendations for the use of secure credential storage and proposes a strategy of gradual transition to the new certification center version of the protocol IPv6 was developed.
