Kyiv Polytechnicians V. Avrutov, V. Hehelskyi, S. Rupich, O. Zamorskyi (PBF, Department of KIONS) and L. Ryzhkov ( Institute of IAT, Department of CI) took part in the 2nd International Workshop "Advances in Civil Aviation Systems Development"

The war, which was unleashed against Ukraine by the russian federation, clearly highlighted who in the world is a true friend and who is an enemy of our country. The vast majority of the Ukrainian diaspora representatives are definitely among the true friends.

The use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) is growing rapidly in the world. Many of them are used for reconnaissance and destruction of ground objects. Thus, it is far-reaching to find uninvited guests minutes away as early as possible.

For the Faculty of Instrumentation Engineering this academic year was "fruitful" for nominal scholarships. One student was granted with a scholarship from the Verkhovna Rada and two others received scholarships from the President of Ukraine.

In April, 2019, at the optical and optoelectronic devices department of the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute the significant event took place - the joint research laboratory was opened under the agreement on Kyiv Polytechnic Institute Cooperation with Global Logic.

Senior lecturer of the Department of Instruments and Systems of Orientation and Navigation of Faculty of Instrumentation Engineering Sergey Alekseyevich Tsybulnik is the winner of the University Contest "Young Teacher-Researcher 2016". Kiev Polytechnic he considers his second home.

June 19, 2017 marks the 70th anniversary of Professor, Doctor of Technical Sciences Valentin Georgievich Kolobrodov, head of Optical and Optoelectronic Devices Department of the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute Instrument-Making Faculty.
