About 15 military personnel and veterans, some of whom are students and graduates of KPI, took part in the rehabilitation program. It was implemented by the KPI Veteran Development Center, the Veterans – Way Home movement, and the British-Ukrainian team Hopeful Future as part of the Reliable Future initiative, an innovative moral rehabilitation project based on the principle of “equal to equal.”
Over the course of three days, participants took part in a series of activities:
🐎 classes at a social ranch and horse riding as a way of relieving psychological and emotional stress;
💬 open conversation with a psychologist in a safe, supportive space;
❓ a question-and-answer session where everyone could talk about important issues and hear from those with similar experiences.
This rehabilitation program was developed by Simon Edwards, a former British soldier and now a psychologist. The program is currently being implemented in Ukraine, taking into account the realities of military action and its consequences.
KPI systematically supports military personnel and veterans by creating an environment for adaptation, new opportunities, and development.
