200 automobiles for the military. How a student of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute with a team provides our soldiers with automobiles
A student of RTF Serhiy Melnikov is now a volunteer. Since the beginning of the war, he managed to organize a charity fund to help Ukrainian soldiers.
"The shock of the war was quickly replaced by the realization that we needed to help the army," says Serhiy.
He spent the first week of the war with his family, hiding in the basement. later they left for safety. Serhiy immediately decided to help the Armed Forces. "Everyone must do what they can for our victory," he said. At first he tried to join the territorial defense, but only men with the necessary experience were admitted there.
For two months now, Serhiy Melnikov has been helping to drive cars for the Ukrainian army from abroad. The young man was personally driving cars for various units from the border. At first he worked as a volunteer. Now he has founded a charity fund way.to.ukraine. The main purpose of his activity is the even distribution of automobiles for the needs of the military.
"The war is in an active phase, and transport is in increasingly short supply, including reliable off-road vehicles," says Serhiy.
Vehicles are now delivered on request to where they are most needed.
The main goal of the fund is to buy as many cars as possible and provide with them as many combat units as possible. The next lot of five off-the-road vehicles is ready to be purchased and delivered to Ukraine.
