Igor Klymenko, a student of the Faculty of Instrumentation Engineering, became the best student in the world according to the Global Student Prize.
The inventor received $100,000 for the greatest impact on education, the lives of equals in age, and society in general. Igor will direct the prize to the development of his inventions. Klymenko plans to implement his device and start mass production.
For the last two years he has been actively working on his latest research, Quadcopter Mines Detector, which he has successfully presented at numerous competitions and exhibitions. Despite the war, Igor studies every day in order to get a quality education for the reconstruction of Ukraine.

Student of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute Is among the Best Students in the World
Igor Klymenko, a student of the Faculty of Instrumentation Engineering of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, came through to the final of the Global Student Prize. He became one of the contenders for the $100,000 prize, which will be awarded to the best student on the planet.
In 2014, when the war began, the boy studied in the 5th grade. Igor decided to help his country and started developing robots for demining. For the last two years he has been actively working on his latest research, Quadcopter Mines Detector, which he has successfully presented at numerous competitions and exhibitions. He was the finalist of X Festival of Innovative Projects "Sikorsky Challenge 2021: Ukraine and the World".
The guy actively volunteers to support the military, and studies every day to continue his research and rebuild Ukraine.
Igor has already developed two working prototypes of his robot for demining, and plans to implement his device and start mass production. If he wins the Global Student Prize, he plans to use the funds to attract more companies and organizations to invest in the finished product and roll it out as quickly as possible.
