Our volunteer community is very active and developed. Polytechnicians collected and handed over humanitarian aid to the residents of Bucha, Irpin, and Kherson. At Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, a temporary shelter was set up for animals evacuated from the Kyiv region. Students donate huge sums of money to help the Armed Forces. Kyiv polytechnicians even set a Ukrainian record for making trench candles to warm the military.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valerii Zaluzhnyi, emphasized that volunteers and the military are an inseparable bond, and the strength of the Ukrainian nation lies in their unity.
