The Art Gallery of the Cultural Arts Center of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute announced the ending of the Art Сontest “KPI Talents” – 2020. Due to a difficult pandemic situation and quarantine measures, this annual competition was held online. 46 participants - students and staff of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute - presented 298 works in the following categories: painting, graphics, applied arts, and embroidery.
The contestants included participants who have repeatedly exhibited their works, as well as those whose creative work is presented for the first time in the Talents Arts Contest. The photos were posted on the Facebook and Instagram pages of the Art Gallery of the Cultural Arts Center and anyone could view them and vote with “likes”. It was exactly the open voting that determined the winners.
The first prize of the “Painting” nomination was shared by Associate Professor of the Department of Theoretical and Applied Economics at the Faculty of Management and Marketing Maryna Duchenko, the student of the 2nd course of the Faculty of Linguistics Daryna Parchevska, the student of the 1st course of Institute of Mechanical Engineering Valeriia Bevzenko. Iryna Kuzevanova, Teaching Assistant at the Department of General and Inorganic Chemistry of the Faculty of Chemical Technology, Marta Litynska, Teaching Assistant at the Department of Inorganic Substances, Water Purification and General Chemical Technology of the Faculty of Chemical Technology, Danil Yatsuk, a 1st-year student of the Institute for Applied System Analysis, Anastasiia Yezhela, a 3rd-year student of the Institute of Printing and Publishing, have taken the second place. Liudmyla Shesterikova, a Senior laboratory assistant of the Department of Printing Technology of the Institute of Printing and Publishing, Nataliia Bukina and Hanna Bidniuk, the art studio “Harmony” members of the Cultural Arts Center have taken the third prize in the contest.
Heorhii Verhulenko, a student of the Institute of Printing and Publishing, has won the first prize in “Graphics”. Vira Morozova, a 3rd-year student of the Faculty of Biotechnology and Biotechnics, has taken second place.
The third prize has been presented Kateryna Horbachova, a 5th-year student of the Institute of Printing and Publishing.
The first prize of the “Applied Arts” nomination was shared by the 6th year student of the Faculty of Heat and Power Engineering Yuliia Mamchych and the 2nd year student of the Faculty of Biotechnology and Biotechnics Zlata Shopova.
Nataliia Lapkovska, a leading specialist of the Academic Secretary service, and Kateryna Vovchuk, a staff member of the Art Gallery of the Cultural Arts Center have won second place. The third-place has been presented to a staff member of the Cultural Arts Center Olena Shesterikova and the Cultural Arts Center secretary Inna Yesina.
Oksana Harmash, an Associate Professor of the Department of Acoustic and Multimedia Electronic Systems at the Faculty of Electronics, has won the first prize in “Embroidery”. Iryna Riabosh, a University campus worker, has taken second place. Olha Moshchytska, a third-year student of the Faculty of Informatics and Computer Science, has been given the third prize.
The Arts Contest Jury awarded diplomas to the winners and thanked all participants.
