Round-table meeting was dedicated to the development of homeland electric transport which was organized May 25 at NTUU «KPI». Participants were presentedwith a elecrobus which was made by consortiums members "Elektrobus Ukraine" and improvement has been continuing till our days.
As the chairman of the consortium Nicholas Goleva, this is another example of elektrobus which was made on the basis of serial minibus "Bohdan". First was tested in 2014. Given the results of design elements for electric urban passenger transport were finalized and at the end of September 2015 were presented second version. It should be noticed that its engine management systems and many other structural units are made in Ukraine. Therefore, their use in mass production could significantly reduce the cost of domestic relative to foreign elektrobuses.
Yet the only example of such elektrobus is ride on one of the regular routes in Lutsk. More than six months of operation, it hadn’t serious faults. Moreover, during the working day it had been saving 800 to 1,000 hryvnas for transport enterprises (as is diesel fuel, which burns by changing usual minibus).
So widespread adoption of such vehicles in Ukraine will significantly reduce the use of oil products. But beyond the immediate savings of financial and material resources, they also provide a significant effect improvement of the urban environment - elektrobuses electromobiles and this is really ecological type of transport. In addition, setting up serial production of such equipment in Ukraine would ensure the creation of more than half a million new jobs.
But to implement this idea in life should be to solve a number of organizational and technical problems. Their discussion was devoted to a round table in the KPI.
On the part of the consortium, in addition to his head of government participation in it was heads and chief specialists of enterprises that it includes - SEC "Avtopoliprom" VTP "Sunrise" and avtobusoremontnoho factory "Sunrise", which also were produced first samples of domestic elektrobus . From the NTUU «KPI» - heads and teachers of the Faculty of Electric Power Engineering and Automation, Electronics Faculty, Department of aviation and space systems, welding Faculty and Institute of mechanical engineering - in short, all the educational and research units, development of which can be useful at work elektrobus to improve the design and bringing it to production. Of course, were represented at the round table and Scientific Park «Kyiv Polytechnic».
The meeting began with a detailed narrative of representatives of the consortium's activities, elektrobusu operating experience in the real world and the concept of a bus 4th generation, which has become the basis of serial production. Not bypassed speakers and problems that should be solved in the course of the improvement elektrobus and implementing it in production, and that, in fact, were the reason for the meeting of producers and researchers.
Possible solving of these problems and, where wider implementation of such large-scale project created last year based on innovation and production platform "Kyiv Polytechnic", said at the meeting vice-rector of KPI NAN of Ukraine Mykhailo Ilchenko. Representatives KPI described the time between faculties and institutions in the development of electric vehicles with electric traction, the development of energy-efficient frequency-controlled motors for motor drive implementation of modern technologies of production and so on.
Violated the meeting purely technical issues, however, the participants decided to consider separately during the working groups in areas. By the way, must be resolved and the issue of the involvement of the project and graduate students who may be one of the main driving forces for its implementation.
Finally, the roundtable participants agreed to prepare a joint appeal to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to support the project and give it a political assistance, as well as the next meeting.
