From 2 to 4 April 2015, the Ukrainian Olympiad on discipline "Cultural Studies" was held for the fourth time at the National Technical University of Ukraine "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute" at the Department of Sociology and Law.
The Olympiad program consisted not only of the mandatory two stages, the results of which determine the winners, but also included additional cultural and educational activities. Given the rather wide geography of the current Olympiad - 42 representatives of 22 universities from 14 cities of 13 regions of Ukraine – it was organized for the guests the tour on the historic center of Kiev.
Program of the Ukrainian Student Olympiad on discipline "Cultural studies" was supplemented by an intellectual game. In addition, the student volunteers FSL conducted the tour on the campus NTUU "KPI". The participants of the Olympiad visited the State Polytechnic Museum at the NTUU "KPI", toured the campus and learned about the history and achievements of the Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.
The final official part of Ukrainian Student Olympiad on discipline "Cultural Studies" was held April 3, 2015 in the Conference Hall of the Academic Council NTUU "KPI". The results were announced and the winners were awarded. At the initiative of the Department of Philosophy NTUU "KPI", each participant of the Ukrainian student competition received the textbook on the philosophy (Duluman E.K., Anatska N.V. Philosophy: Lectures - M.: NTUU "KPI", 2013. - p. 236 ).
On the decision of the jury, headed by Ph.D., professor, head of ethics, aesthetics and culture of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv V.I. Panchenko, the winners are:
- Third place - Ayvenko Irina Stanislavovna (Vasyl Stefanyk Subcarpathian National University ( Ivano-Frankivsk)) and Pokidko Anton Viktorovich (Kherson State University);
- Second place - Ekaterina Bondar (Vinnitsa State Pedagogical University named after M. Kotsyubyns'ky) and Oleinikova Anastasia Andreevna (National Technical University of Ukraine "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute");
- First Place - Zhivoglyadova Daria Yurievna (Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv).
The jury also noted the 22 students who won in various categories and demonstrated their knowledge and skills in various rounds of the Olympiad.
