January 29, the delegation of the Higher Business School in Dabrowa Gornicza (Poland) visited National Technical University of Ukraine "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” .
The delegation included the Dean of the Faculty of Administration and Informatics Professor Rafal Rebilas, head of the international department of Dominica Chernyak and her deputy Victoria Cherevan, as well as representative of "Slavgrad" Anatoly Polishchuk.
Representatives of the Higher Business School in Dabrowa Gornicza acquainted with the history and the present of NTUU "KPI". They made a tour of the historic first building of the university, monuments to outstanding scientists and engineers who have studied and worked in the KPI, visited the State Polytechnic Museum NTUU "KPI" and its Department of aviation and space of Sikorsky and met with employees of the university.
The meeting was attended by Vice-Rector for International Relations Sergei Sidorenko, deputy director of the Ukrainian-Polish Center of the University Eugene Ogorodnik, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Management and Marketing with international activities Elena Podlesnaya, Lecturer, Department of Sociology and Law Catherine Stetsyura, a teacher of Polish language Faculty of Linguistics and KPI Wojciech Zvolinsky and others.
During the dialogue, the participants exchanged views on the cooperation between the Higher Business School in Dabrowa Gornicza and NTUU "KPI", its potential areas, the organization of academic exchanges, and discussed the possibility of establishing on the basis of NTUU"KPI" European Association for International Education in the European Union on participation of Ukrainian universities. At the end of the meeting participants agreed on the preparation of a framework agreement on cooperation and signing it in the near future.
Higher Business School in Dabrowa Gornicza is one of the leading universities of the country. It is located in southern Poland. For more than 20 years it provides training in the field of economic, social and technical sciences. Currently, it enrolls more than 8,000 students. It is one of the research centers of the region. The school has branches in Cieszyn, Olkusz, Zhivets, Krakow. In addition, its structure includes the Centre of Postgraduate Education in Czestochowa. The Scholl has extensive links with universities in many European countries, including the universities of Ukraine.
