Workers of Cultural Arts Center of NTUU "KPI" repeatedly were at literature and musical evenings in our library devoted to prominent figures in the history and culture of Poland. Library staff holds evenings with the honored worker of NTUU "KPI" V.P.Sapronovoyu.
It is worth saying that library is a creation of art, and what happens in the conference room during the evenings, sometimes resembles the historical period that is covered in an interesting report. Wonderful big slides, well matched by chief librarian M.O.Miroshnychenko, and musical illustrations (also for piano pupil V.M.Karavayeva from KPI) are complemented Valentina Petrivna`s interesting story. Unintentionally immersed in the fascinating sound melodies of Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, Chopin. I visited almost all the performances, and they really impressed me. Especially I remembered stories about incredible singer Solomia Krushelnytska (we had a chance to hear her voice), about life and love one brilliant French writer Honore de Balzac and Evelina Ganska. Remarkable evening made a great impression which was dedicated to the famous Polish woman, brilliant scientist, winner of two Nobel Prizes, who along with her husband Pierre Curie discovered chemical element radium - Maria Sklodowska-Curie. Speaker in very interesting and accessible way acquainted us with scientific facts in physics and chemistry. Book exhibitions that complement the evenings also relevant.
So we, the employees, neighbors of the library, who are also very often in our art gallery faced with beautiful works of art, we wish continuing success to the organizers of this interesting cultural and educational series in the library.
