December 26, the official transfer of the vehicle - SUV «Chevrolet» to Ukrainian military was held near the university interfaith church of St. Nicholas. This vehicle was additionally equipped by the students NTUU "KPI".
According to the vice-rector of KPI Peter Kyrychok, students collected themselves funds for metals and other materials to improve the vehicle. Also they performed manually all welding works. As a result the soldiers who will go soon in the area of ATO, got the car with a body sheathed steel plates, installed slot for machine guns and protected benches for personnel.
According to Acting Deputy Chief of the Central Directorate of Military Police Colonel Andrei Vlasenko, this is not the first experience of cooperation KPI with the military and probably not the last. There is a work ahead to retrofit and repair of another war machine for the unit of military law enforcement and more.
After the consecration SUV soldiers and their commanders took pictures with students and staff of the university.
