On November 9, 1938, the first mass action of physical violence of the Third Reich against Jews took place.

This year, the All-Ukrainian Innovation Ecosystem "Sikorsky Challenge Ukraine" was not about ideas, but ready-made projects. Most of them were dedicated to defense: from special high-strength materials to special military equipment.

The Kyiv Polytechnic Charitable Foundation was established at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute for the support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

A charity concert was held at the Art and Culture Centre.

The students of our university have always distinguished themselves by their social activism, meaningfully participating in the events taking place in Ukraine. They, who were concerned, cared then and do care now for the fate of their Motherland.

Special civil defense training for management structures took place at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. Their goal is to equip workers with knowledge and skills that will help protect them from threats in case of russian airstrikes.

Memorial plaques to Yuriy Artiukh and Oleh Zadorozhny were opened at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.

Since the first days of russian aggression, the Students Trade Union Committee of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute has joined the support of the defense forces of Kyiv and ensured the life of the university during the war.

The project "About Science. Adequately", founded by the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, is about research that changes lives and benefits the state.

A lot of students, teachers, scientists and employees of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute defend our country at the frontline. Some of them took up weapons for the first time, some have been familiar with military routine since 2014.
