Shogi (Japanese chess) is one of the oldest intellectual games. It has derived from the ancient game of "Chaturanga", the birthplace of which is considered Iranian Abadan, which in ancient times was a part of India. From there, the fans brought it through Persia to Europe, where it evolved into what today is known as "chess". But the movement of the game occurred on the East, to China where it transformed into "Santy". In the Nara period (710-794), the Japanese mission, whuch were sent to the court of the Tang Empire, has brought to a home an exciting game, slightly changed it in their own way.
