On December 6, 2012 a delegation of "Tokyo Boeki Technology Ltd." (Japan) headed by its president Mr. Kazuei Uchida and Mr. Oleksiy Shpak, managing director of company’s office in Ukraine, visited NTUU "KPI".

The purpose of Mr. Kazuei Uchida’s visit was opening of the Centre “Ukrainian-Japanese Rapid Microscopy Teaching and Research Laboratory” in NTUU "KPI". Technical equipment supplied by "Tokyo Boeki Technology Ltd.” will assist Ukrainian students in their further practical training.
For the guests it was made presentation of KPI and they also got acquainted with exhibitions of State Polytechnic Museum of Ukraine at NTUU "KPI" as well as the Science Park "Kyivska Polytechnika".
First Vice-rector Mr. Yuriy Yakymenko, Deputy Vice-rector on international relations Mr. Eugene Polischuk and deans of faculties, directors of institutes, postgraduates and students took part in discussions on cooperation with Japanese guests.
At the end of the meeting it was signed a Protocol on Cooperation between the parties. The joint efforts of NTUU “KPI” and the Japanese company "Tokyo Boeki Technology Ltd.” will promote an integration of modern science, education and industry in our countries.
The visit was concluded by a scientific seminar.
