The opening of a kinder school of microelectronics “Lampa Kids” was on March 6th. It is working at the building №12 of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, where the Faculty of Electronics is situated.
In the courtyard of the 9th Building the site that was created in Soviet times for student creativity was idle for many years.
On February, 2, the 1st lesson of the School of community budget “Project realization: the purchase phase” took place in the students’ space “Belka”. The co-organizers were the Scientific Library of the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and the team of the Community budget unit.
Among the winning projects of this year’s ‘Public Budget’ competition, the initiative of the Polytechnics’ on building up a free school of Microelectronics for children as part of the ‘Igor Sikorsky KPI’ stands out of the crowd.
Among the public projects that were proposed by the teachers and students of our university and became the winners of the contest of the Kyiv city state administration "Public Budget 2017", there is a project to create a studio for the production of massive open online courses "Belka MOOC" at NTB
On December 8 at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute an official opening of the innovative high-tech electronics laboratory and prototype "Lamp" was held.
With the joint efforts of initiative teams, students and thanks to the votes of Kyiv residents in the public budget of Kyiv won 5 large KPI's projects and one small for the total amount of 10 million 159 thousand 75 UAH.
