Scientists of the university organize a number of scientific and practical conferences and seminars. Scientific activities are an important part of a comprehensive, systematic approach to creative learning and intensive scientific research.
On December 4–6, 2025, Igor Sikorsky KPI First Vice Rector Mykhailo Bezuglyi, Chief Accountant Kateryna Zaits, and Head of the Planning and Finance Department Maryna Bronytska are participating in the workshop "Planning and Financing, Accounting and Reporting, Human Resources and Salaries, Property Relations in Higher Education Institutions," which is being held at Lviv Polytechnic National University.
The focus was on the synergy between state institutions and higher education institutions to improve quality standards. Participants included representatives from about 50 Ukrainian universities: rectors, experts, heads of quality and accreditation departments, and students.
Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute hosted the fourth seminar in the series “Aspects of National Security and Defense.”
The event became a professional platform for open interdisciplinary dialogue between scientists, engineers, military personnel, and developers of the latest weapons, as well as for the exchange of experience on global security challenges.
From June 2 to 6, 2025, a training seminar was held in Ljubljana (Slovenia) as part of the Erasmus+ Open4UA project — Open Science for the Higher Education System of Ukraine.
The CLUST SPACE Smart Shelter at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute hosted an inter-sectoral seminar entitled “Artificial Intelligence in Action: Practical Recommendations for the Public Sector and Educational Institutions.”
A seminar devoted to aspects of Polish-Ukrainian cooperation was held on May 23-25, 2025, at the LANCUT Hotel in Lancut, near Rzeszow. The seminar was organized by the Section of KPI Alumni in Poland.
Our university held a training workshop for teachers of vocational education institutions on the implementation of the course “Installation of solar photovoltaic systems”.
🇺🇦🇺🇸 As part of the third in a series of seminars “Aspects of National Security and Defense”, our university was visited by recognized authorities in the field of military analytics - Rear Admiral Mark Montgomery of the US Navy and Major General Charles Corcoran of the US Air Force.
The issues raised at the forum and in its Declaration were also discussed at the seminar “Environmental Security during War and Armed Conflict” held on November 6, 2024, at the UN Headquarters and dedicated to the International Day for the Prevention of Environmental Exploitation during War and Armed Conflict. It focused on the environmental consequences of the war in Ukraine.
