The State Academic Scholarships named after the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred honor the heroic deeds of the youngest members of the Heavenly Hundred. Each scholarship is named after one of the heroes and is awarded to students majoring in the same field as that person. "The Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred Scholarship is both a way to support talented youth and to honor our recent history. We thank the universities for their transparent selection process and guarantee adequate funding for the program. I believe that these students will carry the values of freedom and dignity into their professions and communities,” said Oksen Lisovyi, Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine.

At the end of last year, the Ministry of Education and Science issued an order on the awarding of the President of Ukraine’s academic scholarships to graduate students for the 2025/2026 academic year. These scholarships will be awarded to candidates with outstanding scientific or academic achievements as an incentive for their work and motivation to achieve high results. Among the recipients is Andriy Makarchuk, an assistant professor in the Department of Software Engineering in Energy at the Institute of IATE.

Young people are the most active segment of our society. And students represent its intellectual potential. Student energy is a source of new ideas, innovations, and social change. It is on their shoulders that the responsibility for the country’s recovery and future rests. Traditionally, the best among them are recognized with named awards and scholarships.

During a recent visit to Igor Sikorsky KPI, representatives of NZIA Connect Inc. — an innovative South Korean telecom startup and our partner — presented third-year students of the Radio Engineering Faculty (RTF) Ivan Kuznetsov and Maxim Talyar.

To train qualified specialists in demand in the labor market, Kyiv Polytechnic closely cooperates with numerous domestic and international companies that are interested in young professionals who are able to work on the latest equipment: to maintain, improve it, contribute to the development of the company and develop relevant industries. 

Every year 270 laureates of the President of Ukraine scholarship - schoolchildren and students - receive financial rewards for their scientific achievements. Among them are 150 winners of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiads in basic academic subjects and 120 winners of the All-Ukrainian Competition for the Defense of Research Papers by Students of the Junior Academy of Sciences.

Hlib Skopyk, a student of the FPM, will receive a scholarship in the academic year 2024/25. He is studying Software Engineering and has the first place in the third-year academic performance rating.

By the Resolution of the Presidium of the Committee on the Borys Paton National Prize of Ukraine dated 05 November 2024 No. 6, 229 scholarships of the President of Ukraine for young scientists of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, 276 scholarships of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for young scientists were awarded and the payment of scholarships to young scientists who have successfully passed the certification was continued..

Hanna Shymanska, a student of FIOT, received a scholarship in the academic year 2022/23.
