The opening ceremony of the Joint Education and Research Center of NTUU "KPI" - "Progrestech-Ukraine" took place on July, 2 at the National Technical University of Ukraine "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute".
On June 27, 2014 at the Cultural and Information Centre of the Embassy of Ukraine in France the grand opening of the exhibition "Maidan 2004-2014 and KPI" took place.
On the 1st of July the Parliament of Ukraine by a majority of 276 votes adopted a new Law of Ukraine "On Higher Education"!
To celebrate the 100th anniversary of outstanding rocketry designer Volodymyr Chelomei (17 (30) June, 1914 - 8 December, 1984) NTUU "KPI" organized the ceremony of laying flowers to his memorial.
On the 1st of July the Hall of Academic Council of NTUU "KPI" hosted the ceremony for the grand opening of the 9th open international student programming contest named after S. O. Lebedev and V.M. Glushkov.
The branch NTUU "KPI" in the city Slavutych Kyiv region provides education since 2001. It was opened in execution of the Order of the President of Ukraine in accordance with the decree "On measures related to the closure of the Chornobyl nuclear power plant."
On June, 26 at NTUU "KPI" there was presentation of unusual art objects - six benches along Polytechnichna street that were transformed by students into works of street art.
The Second International Conference of the Black Sea region in telecommunications and networks IEEE BlackSeaCom2014 was held 27-30 May 2014 in Chisinau (Moldova).
Senior Lecturer, Department of Applied fluid mechanics and mechatronics IME, doctoral candidate NTUU "KPI" Ph.D. Sergey Strucihski won the contest "Young teacher-researcher - 2013". This marked his teaching and research.
23-25 May 2014, a seminar on "Economic cooperation between Poland and Ukraine", organized by the Section of graduates KPI, was held in Szczawno Zdroj (Poland).
