Igor Sikorsky Polytechnic Institute has become the first higher education institution in Ukraine to officially join the National Bank of Ukraine BankID System as a non-commercial service provider. This achievement was preceded by more than a year of work, numerous consultations, and negotiations between Igor Sikorsky Polytechnic Institute, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, and the National Bank of Ukraine.

📃 Igor Sikorsky Polytechnic Institute presented five startups at INSCIENCE Conference — the largest deep tech popular science conference in Ukraine — in the fields of medtech, digital modeling, and rehabilitation. These are projects where university research is transformed into solutions that work for people.

The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine approved the inclusion of a number of scientific periodicals in the List of Professional Scientific Publications of Ukraine with the assignment of Category “B” status for a three-year period, from June 1, 2026, to May 31, 2029. Among the publications that received confirmation of their professional status are 19 scientific journals of Igor Sikorsky Polytechnic Institute.

♻️ Students of Igor Sikorsky Polytechnic Institute are among the winners of the 6th All-Ukrainian Competition with international participation, "Youth Intelligence. Sustainable Nature Management and Advanced Energy-Efficient Technologies."

☑️ A memorial plaque honoring Andrii Dmytrovych Hutsal—a graduate of Igor Sikorsky Polytechnic Institute, rugby player of the Rugby Club "Polytechnic", Major of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, and Hero of Ukraine—has been unveiled in Building No. 19 of Igor Sikorsky Polytechnic Institute.

⚙️ During the visit of the delegation from the international organization PCM & MAT Kosovo (Republic of Malta), the parties discussed the prospect of establishing an International Training Center for Mine Action and Humanitarian Demining at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. The center is expected to train specialists in the detection and disposal of explosive hazards, as well as in risk management in war-affected areas.

Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute welcomed the CEO of America-Ukraine Strategic Partners (AUSP) together with representatives of the U.S.-Ukraine Business Council (USUBC).

🤝 On Science Day, Igor Sikorsky KPI once again served as a venue for the President of Ukraine to meet with the scientific community. The Head of State familiarized himself with the latest Ukrainian achievements and developments, including the results of KPI’s scientific research.

A meeting with leading British astrobiologist and planetary scientist Professor Charles Cockell took place at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. The visit was organized with the support of the President of Ukraine’s Foundation for Education, Science and Sports under the UK–UA Visiting Professors Programme.

Redrich Putyatin, a graduate student in the Department of Technical and Software Automation at the Faculty of Applied Physics and Engineering (FAPIE) of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute (KPI), achieved a strong result at The International Physics Competition (IPhyC).
