A modern space for training a new generation of engineers has been opened on the basis of the Instrument Engineering Faculty (PBF).

This ambitious project was implemented thanks to the Technopolis Engineering and Technology Center, which develops and implements comprehensive technological solutions: from reengineering (design) of mechanical production or its technological audit to a turnkey project for processing a specific part.

The KPI-Technopolis Research and Development Center offers:

• modern high-tech equipment — a numerically controlled machine tool from EMCO Group and stands with tools from leading European manufacturers;
• 25 comfortable workstations;
• space for lectures and practical classes.

Here, students of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and other KPI faculties will be able to:

• gain practical experience working with modern technologies;
• develop control programs for CNC machines;
• perform turning and milling operations on parts;
• develop competencies for high-tech business and industry;
• attract international grant projects.
