The focus was on the synergy between state institutions and higher education institutions to improve quality standards. Participants included representatives from about 50 Ukrainian universities: rectors, experts, heads of quality and accreditation departments, and students.
Key topics of the seminar:
• improving internal education quality assurance systems;
• recommendations for international university cooperation;
• post-accreditation monitoring of educational programs;
• features of the formation of educational programs for regulated professions;
• control of deficiencies that affect the quality of education.
📌 The event included a workshop entitled “Experience of accreditation of educational programs by foreign agencies” from experts at Igor Sikorsky KPI. Serhii Burian, head of the accreditation and licensing department, shared his successful experience and practical cases of more than 10 international accreditations at KPI. Experts from many higher education institutions in Ukraine received recommendations on successful international accreditation to confirm the compliance of the quality of training of specialists with European standards.
