The Faculty of Physics and Mathematics (FMF) of our university now has a modern laboratory with 17 high-tech workstations, which will serve as a basis for integrating innovative artificial intelligence methods into the educational space, as well as into fundamental and applied scientific research in physics and mathematics on the way to creating new technologies.
The lab opens up expanded opportunities for KPI students to analyze data, perform complex calculations, and model physical processes. New lab projects are already being developed for students, which will give them practical experience working with AI tools.
The educational and research space was created thanks to:
📌 DataRoot Labs — an AI R&D center that has been developing and implementing artificial intelligence-based technologies in partnership with international startups, corporations, and scientific institutions since 2016;
📌 financial support from UFTM, a non-profit organization working on key challenges in technical education.
This is yet another new laboratory at Igor Sikorsky KPI, strengthening the potential and capabilities of the university's innovation ecosystem!
