A delegation of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan headed by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Ukraine Seymur Gurban oglu Mardaliyev visited Kyiv Polytechnic to deepen existing and establish new areas of cooperation with our university. The following issues were discussed:
📌 new student exchange and internship programs;
📌 joint projects in cybersecurity, humanitarian demining, and the space program.
“Our embassy is ready to work on expanding cooperation in the academic component and in the scientific field, because the education received at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute is highly appreciated in the Republic of Azerbaijan,” Seymur Gurban oglu Mardaliyev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Ukraine.
Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and Azerbaijan already have examples of effective partnership in the scientific and educational spheres, exchange of methods of training qualified specialists, as well as experience in the field of humanitarian demining. Representatives of our university recently attended a large-scale demining conference in Baku and are now applying the experience gained in the newly created Center for Humanitarian Demining.
Seymur Gurban oglu Mardaliyev is convinced that the experience and solid material and technical base of Kyiv Polytechnic are priority areas for Azerbaijan. Therefore, the next meeting at the university is planned to end with the signing of a memorandum of understanding, which will give impetus to the development of a comprehensive partnership and further intensification of cooperation.
