On 11.04.2023, the website of the State Audit Service of Ukraine (hereinafter - SASU) published inaccurate and manipulative information on the results of the audit of certain issues of financial and economic activities of the National Technical University of Ukraine "Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute".
We would like to inform you that based on the results of the audit, the SASU drew up an act to which the university sent relevant reasoned objections. After considering the objections, as the final stage of the audit, the SASU sent Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute requirements to eliminate violations by letter No. 00300-14/3482-2023.
These requirements (pages 3-4 of the letter) do not contain any confirmed information about violations of financial, budgetary discipline, procurement legislation in the total amount of UAH 14414.7 thousand; about the loss of state budget funds or state real estate by the university; about the transfer to third-party legal entities of the results of an invention created at public expense within the framework of a scientific topic that cost the state UAH 1255.7 thousand, as well as other unnecessarily spent funds.
Instead, the SASU's requirements, sent to the university in an official letter, contain a clear list of actions to be taken to eliminate the violations identified during the audit. Currently, the university has already eliminated some of the violations specified in the requirements, and the other part is in the process of elimination by preparing relevant documents, correspondence, filing lawsuits, signing contracts, etc.
Thus, the information provided at the link is distorted, unreliable and manipulative, which is not true and harms the business reputation of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.
