Students, lecturers and everyone who cared were making trench candles for our defenders for the whole day.
The event, which was organized by the trade union committee of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, turned out to be so unique that it was put on the National Register of Records. In total, about 200 people joined to set the record. 5,359 trench candles were made.
Since the first days of the war, polytecjnicians have actively supported our military, collected humanitarian aid, and raised funds to purchase vehicles and other equipment.
"Only according to official information, 109 students and lecturers of our university are defending the country," Ihor Stepaniuk, the Chairman of the Students Trade Union Committee of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, told "Fakty i Kommentarii".
