International Day of Women and Girls in Science

Every year on February 11, the world celebrates the International Day of Women and Girls in Science. The General Assembly adopted a resolution on science, technology, and innovation for development, in which it recognized that full and equal access to and participation in science, technology, and innovation for women and girls of all ages is imperative for achieving gender equality and empowerment of women and girls.

Many talented women scientists at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute have made a significant contribution to the development of science. The main principle of our University is “Science has no limits and is accessible for everyone”.
