Serene recent days - a good time for a walk in the fresh air. And for those who come to study in the KPI from other cities - the opportunity to begin acquaintance with Kyiv, with its historic sites. From where to begin? - Of course, from Khreshchatyk!
The main problem in the field of health care is timely diagnosis of the patient. Identify the disease at an early stage is necessary before it is possible to prevent its development and to bring man back to a healthy state.
These thoughts are inspired by the new academic year, which is for all of us - those who are working and studying at the famous KPI - the anniversary. In this year we are meeting with the first generation of students born and raised in the independent Ukraine and came into our home university and dream of becoming a truly modern engineers.
Undoubtedly, Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute is considered to be the most magnificent university in Kyiv. On the premises of its buildings, you feel as if you put your hand to the discoveries and studies that were carried out by great scholars.
Finally the time has come, when you are almost graduates, feel that you need to put into practice the knowledge acquired during the years of study. And you still have to spend a lot of effort to search for job vacancies in the specialty.
Mechanical subdepartment (later – Department of Mechanical Engineering and now - Institute of Mechanical Engineering of NTUU " KPI") dates back to 1898 and together with Chemical Engineering Department is fthe same age as the Kyiv Politechnik.
