5.1. To assess the learning of scientific and pedagogical workers, control measures are carried out. They determine the compliance of the level of knowledge, formed competencies and skills acquired by applicants, with the requirements of educational programs and ensure timely adjustment of the educational process.
5.2. The following main types of control measures are used in the educational process of the University: Entrance, current, calendar, rector's and final (semester control and certification) control.
5.3. Rector's control is carried out in accordance with the Regulations on rector's quality control of residual knowledge of University students in order to systematically study the nature of the educational process at faculties / institutes and develop on this basis scientific and methodological recommendations for forming a set of quality management actions.
5.4. Entrance control is carried out at the beginning of training in a new discipline in order to determine the readiness of applicants to master it. Based on the results of the entrance control, measures are developed to provide individual assistance to applicants, adjust the educational process, etc.
5.5. Control measures to verify the results of mastering the material of academic disciplines (educational components) - the level of competencies, knowledge, skills and abilities acquired at each stage of the discipline (educational component), as well as the procedure for eliminating academic debt at the University is implemented in accordance with Regulations on current, calendar and semester control of learning in Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.
5.6. Certification of applicants is carried out in accordance with Regulations on the examination commission and certification of applicants for higher education in Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.
