In November 2020 as part of the IX Festival of Innovative Projects Sikorsky Challenge 2020 the national stage of the International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) 2021 took place.

The ninth festival of innovative projects at Kyiv Polytechnic was held on-line: most of the participants from different countries and regions of Ukraine presented the developments remotely in the form of video.

The main attention of the meeting between representatives of industry and Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute specialists was given to a new green economy and participation of the University experts in it.

The work of the Festival of Innovation continues. During the next discussion panel they talked about the development of the regional network of innovation environment Sikorsky Challenge. Today there are already 13 clusters in Ukraine and 5 in other countries.

The Sikorsky Challenge Festival is one of the most important annual events in the field of innovation in Ukraine. This is the ninth time it has been held at Kyiv Polytechnic this year. 56 unique projects from all over the country reached the finals.

A delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine, the Minister of newly-created Ministry, Oleg Uruskyi visited the Kyiv Polytechnic. The official and the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute administration discussed the prospects for future cooperation.
