Working hours of the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute Colosseum: from 9:00 until 18:00 or until 17:30 during winter period from Monday until Friday. On Saturdays and Sundays, the working hours are set in accordance with a special schedule, and the working hours for special events are confirmed additionally.

The Art Space “The Common Platform Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute Colosseum”, the Faculty of Physical Engineering, gather students, post-graduate students and university employees to carry out cultural and aesthetic, artistic and creative education of students, coordinate and solve the issues of the educational process filling with the cultural, scientific and aesthetic components for the purpose of unification of the development, of providing an adequate leisure culture for students and teachers in the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. It plays a significant role in building a corporate culture and image of the University as one of the modern European educational establishments.

The full name of the Art Space is “The Common Platform Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute Colosseum”; the shortened name is “The Common Platform KPI Colosseum”; in English, it is usually called «КРІ Colosseum»; in Russian – “Колизей КПИ”; in Ukrainian, it is “Колізей КПІ”.

The KPI Colosseum was created on the initiative of the students of the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and operates on the basis of free access of all interested within the working hours of the KPI Colosseum.

The aim of the KPI Colosseum is to ensure the all-round development of students, to create the conditions for the education of a patriotic, high-toned and cultural society, to encourage everyone to the intellectual and cultural development, to support creative initiatives, to revitalize the university space, to improve the image of the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.

The KPI Colosseum has such directions: carrying out cultural and aesthetic, recreational, creative, educational and scientific events, organization and development of the artistic and creative activity among students, implementation of educational and creative programs in the cultural and educational sphere.

The activities of the KPI Colosseum are:

• Organization of musical events, literary and theater evenings, cinema shows, online broadcasts, etc .;
• Conducting thematic seminars, organizing schools for informal education, workshops, trainings, lectures for students, postgraduates and teachers;
• Conducting educational events for students;
• Organization of cultural events for students;
• Popularization of University activities among students and university entrants;
• Establishing systematic work aimed at creating the favorable conditions for the development of student creative activity;

Visiting the KPI Colosseum (within the working hours) is allowed for all interested in the condition of following the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute internal regulations, the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute Code of honor and other generally accepted rules of conduct in public places.
