This year, the Department of Machines and Apparatus of Chemical and Oil Refining Production (MAHNV) of the Faculty of Chemical Engineering celebrates its 95th anniversary.

This issue of our newspaper was supposed to be completely different. Its layout was already made and sent to the printing house in Kharkiv. The newspaper talked about the Doors Open Day at the university; about projects carried out at faculties, cooperation with partners, etc. And, of course, about the female part of the university staff, as one way or the other, the beginning of spring for many of us is traditionally associated with honoring women.

The Department of Management (DM) of the Faculty of Management and Marketing is one of the largest and most successful departments of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. The DM is the same age as the country since the moment of its independence.

The Department of Electrochemical Plants Technology (EPT) of the Faculty of Chemical Technology (FCT) is preparing specialists of a unique and high-demand specialty: “Electrochemical technologies of inorganic and organic materials”.

The Department of Machines and Apparatuses for Chemical and Oil-refining Industries was created in a stormy 1928 as part of the Chemical-Technological Faculty of the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.

A fast-paced pathway of aerobic sports club “Talisman KPI” is regulated by academic activity and particular student life events. Everything starts in September and quites down at New Year holidays, then it bursts out in the period from February to June.

The Department of Physics at the Kyiv Polytechnic Institute was created at the same time as the institute – in 1898 its organizer and first director was Professor of Kyiv University Georgy DeMetz (1861-1947).
