For the development of the energy efficient equipment for industry, FEA Associate Professor Sergei Alexandrovich is honored with the prize of the President of Ukraine for young scientists on the basis of the submission of the Committee on State Prizes of Ukraine in Science and Technology.
Serhiy Oleksandrovych is a foster child of the Kiev Polytechnic University. He graduated in 2008, and since this time has been working at the Department of automation equipment and electromechanical drive. He has run the gamut from engineer to senior teacher and lecturer. In 2013 he had passed Ph.D. defense on "Extreme energy-efficient electromechanical automation systems of pump multi-handling units." He has over 50 scientific publications and methodical works, a manual with "KPI" label, member of the editorial board of faculty reports collection "Modern Problems of Electric Power Engineering and Automation."
Awarded work has a title "New means of improving quality control of electromechanical objects." The authors developed the scientific basis of creation and introduction of new management principles of elektromechanical systems with complex technological objects which increase energy efficiency of system in a whole and new ways of managing dual power machines with modern algorithms for vector control. The theme is relevant because the problem of energy saving and energy efficiency of industrial equipment is very actual nowadays . The economic effect of the introduction of the development is 1.25 million USD per year.
