Training of applicants for higher education at the level of Doctor of Philosophy is carried out:

To support the most talented young researchers and encourage outstanding scientific achievements, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, by Order No. 1526 of November 19, 2025, awarded Presidential Academic Scholarships for the 2025/2026 academic year to selected PhD students. The scholarship amounts to UAH 23,700 per month. Among the recipients are two researchers from Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute: Andrii Makarchuk (Educational and Research Institute of Nuclear and Thermal Energy; see Kyiv Polytechnic, No. 3–4, 2026) and Roman Pedan (Yevhen O. Paton Educational and Research Institute of Materials Science and Welding).
Andriy Makarchuk: “Comprehensive communication always yields results”
At the end of last year, the Ministry of Education and Science issued an order on the awarding of the President of Ukraine’s academic scholarships to graduate students for the 2025/2026 academic year. These scholarships will be awarded to candidates with outstanding scientific or academic achievements as an incentive for their work and motivation to achieve high results. Among the recipients is Andriy Makarchuk, an assistant professor in the Department of Software Engineering in Energy at the Institute of IATE.

Oksana Grygorieva, a PhD student at KPI, is an advisor on gender issues to the Ukrainian Armed Forces command.
Recently, information appeared on the Internet that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had created the position of advisor on gender issues and that Oksana Volodymyrivna Grygorieva had been appointed to it.
Admission to Doctoral Study is announced
National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” announces admission to Doctoral study in 2017. Admission of documents is conducted.

Oleksiy Galganov is the winner of the ICMU award for scientific achievements
The International Center for Mathematics in Ukraine (ICMU) honorary award, introduced this year, was given to Oleksiy Galganov, a PhD student at the Department of Mathematical Analysis and Probability Theory of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. He became one of six winners selected from among the best mathematics students from all leading Ukrainian universities.
