The Ukrainian-Japanese Center at Igor Sikorsky KPI hosted the opening of the ceramics exhibition “Five Bowls.”
This is one of the events within the framework of the winter festival of Japanese culture Toji, supported by the Embassy of Japan in Ukraine.
📌 The exhibition features works by contemporary Ukrainian ceramists, as well as Japanese master Hosaya Matsubayashi XVI, a representative of the ancient ceramic dynasty Asahiyaki.
Visitors had the opportunity to join a curatorial tour, see demonstrations of tea ceremonies in various formats, and participate in a master class on whipping Japanese matcha tea.
Some of the exhibitions and events at Toji are still ongoing and await visitors. We invite you to immerse yourself in Japanese aesthetics!
