🇺🇦🇯🇵 The delegation of the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) consisting of Tomohiro Yoden and Ryo Koba paid an important visit to the Ukrainian-Japanese Center of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. JETRO actively supports various institutions in Ukraine, including our university.
“We are convinced that our experience will help in building the country and restoring people. That is why we are now actively engaging international business in general and Japanese business in particular to work in Ukraine. We are also persistently looking for promising startups - and you have a lot of them - to make Japanese investors interested in their implementation. And your Ukrainian-Japanese Center can become a hub for such initiatives,” said Ryo Koba, Senior Director of Global Strategy (Europe), Head of Business Department at JETRO Ukraine.
The meeting became a platform for exchanging ideas and discussing promising areas of cooperation, such as:
📌 financial, consulting and partnership support for innovation, as well as promotion of startups, especially those that are part of the Sikorsky Challenge innovation ecosystem
📌 strengthening cultural, linguistic and business ties between our institutions;
📌 working to restore human capital through the introduction of Japanese experience and best practices;
📌 organizing educational events and lectures for students.
