The IREG Observatory on Academic Ranking and Excellence (IREG Observatory) is an international institutional association of world ranking organizations, universities and other organizations interested in university rankings and academic excellence.
The goal of IREG Observatory is to increase public awareness and understanding of the range of issues related to university rankings and academic excellence.
The experience gained by a group of rankers and ranking analysts who joined together in 2002 became the basis for the creation of the International Expert Rating Group (IREG). In 2009, this informal group was reorganized into the IREG Observatory, headquartered in Brussels. The secretariat of the IREG Observatory is located in Warsaw, Poland.
The national ranking "Top 200 Ukraine" is accredited by IREG Observatory and operates according to the methodology agreed with IREG.
Every year, IREG Observatory publishes the results of the national ranking of Ukrainian universities "Top 200 Ukraine" on its resources.
