Volodymyr studied at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute as a programmer, but the prospect of sitting for hours on end working on code did not appeal to him.
Volodymyr was well known among musicians. Back in 2012, he and his wife Natalia opened the first Rock School in Kyiv with their wedding money. It was a unique project.
On the second day of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, Volodymyr was already standing in line at the military registration and enlistment office. However, he was able to sign up only on March 11. He joined the 26th Separate Rifle Battalion.
At the front, Volodymyr worked on drones. And then he took on the responsibility of monitoring video cameras.
He was killed near Vuhledar on March 8, 2023, when he went to check the cameras and change the batteries. The enemy tracked them down and covered them with artillery.
