Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute is preparing to launch two research nanosatellites into space.
PolyITAN-HP-30 is completely ready for now. The launch is planned for December this year from Cape Canaveral (USA). SpaceX's Falcon-9 rocket will carry it into orbit.
In space orbit, satellites will carry out a scientific experiment to research the effectiveness of heat pipes as the main element of the thermostabilizing systems of space vehicles.
The PolyITAN-3-PUT research nanosatellite co-produced by Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and Poznań University of Technology is being prepared next. It is intended for remote sensing of the Earth in the optical range, and data transmission to ground receiving stations of two universities. It will also investigate the impact of stratospheric aerosol on the Earth's ozone layer. The launch is planned for the first half of 2023.
