The art competition “Talents of KPI – 2021” has come to the end. According to the Art Gallery of the Centre for Culture and Arts of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, the competition this year, like last year, was held online due to the quarantine restrictions.

69 students and employees of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute from 18 faculties and institutes attended the competition. A total of 227 works were presented in the nominations “Painting”, “Graphics”, “Decorative and Applied Arts”, and “Embroidery”. As annually, among the contestants were participants who repeatedly exhibited their works. On the other hand, one could also find debutants who presented their projects in the “KPI Talents” for the first time. It is worth mentioning that this time the newcomers prevailed… The photos of the pieces were posted in the album on the page of the Art Gallery of the Centre for Culture and Arts on Facebook and Instagram so everyone could view them and put likes. These likes became the basis of such a vote that the winners were announced.

In the nomination “Painting”, an ISCIS first-year student Krystyna Botvynko, Associate Professor of the Department of Theoretical and Applied Economics of the FMM Maryna Duchenko, and an FL third-year student Daryna Parchevska shared first place. Diana Lisovska, an IME second-year student, Nikita Achkasov, an ISCIS first-year student, Valeriia Mukha, an ERITS first-year student, and Lyudmila Shesterikova, a senior laboratory assistant at the Department of Printing Technology of the IPP took second place. An IME second-year student Valeriia Bevzenko, an ISCIS first-year student Anastasiia Komyna, an FSL first-year student Victoriia Novytska, and an FPM first-year student Kateryna Rachek shared third place.

In the nomination “Graphics” the first prize went to an FIE first-year student Ihor Paukov, the second place went to an IME first-year student Inna Ritchenko, the third place - to the first-year student of the IPT Ihor Marchuk.

In the nomination “Decorative and Applied Arts” Nataliia Lapkovska, a leading specialist in the service of the Academic Secretary took first place, and Polina Sotnikova took second place, a second-year student of the IPT.

In the nomination “Embroidery”, Nataliia Voloshyna, Associate Professor of the Department of Theoretical Fundamentals of Special Telecommunications Systems Means Exploitation #4 of the ISCIS, won first place. Assistant of the Department of General and Inorganic Chemistry of FCT Iryna Kuzevanova, a first-year student of Y. O. Paton Educational and Research Institute of Materials Science and Welding Daryna Motorna and an engineer of the Department of Information Security of the IPT Olena Napreienko shared second place. The third place went to Mariia Rudomiotova, a third-year student of the ISCIS, and Hanna Yailymova, an assistant of the Department of Mathematical Modelling and Data Analysis of the IPT.

The competition winners will be awarded diplomas.
